Join a park ranger for an early morning guided hike at Kartchner Caverns State Park. View desert vegetation, learn about wildlife and habitat, and experience the beauty of the foothills of the Whetstone Mountains in the golden glow of the sunrise light, before afternoon temperatures rise.

The guided hike will be along the Foothills Trail, which is 3 miles of moderately difficult terrain.

Meet at the Discovery Center at 5 a.m. The hike will last approximately two hours. Please wear hiking shoes and bring plenty of water. Standard park entry fees apply or bring your Arizona State Parks and Trails annual pass. Event is weather permitting.
